Özet
Speed Reader hiçbir kişisel veri toplamaz, hiçbir veriyi internete göndermez ve hiçbir sunucuda saklamaz. Hesap açtırmaz, reklam göstermez, analitik veya takip aracı kullanmaz.
Hangi verilere erişir?
- Seçtiğiniz metni veya açık sayfanın metnini, yalnızca tarayıcınızda kelime kelime göstermek için okur. Bu metin hiçbir yere gönderilmez.
- Okuma hızı, tema ve duraklama tercihleri ile son okunan metin yalnızca cihazınızda (
chrome.storage.local) saklanır.
İzinler neden gerekli?
- activeTab, scripting: yalnızca siz eklenti simgesine tıkladığınızda, kısayola bastığınızda veya sağ tık menüsünü seçtiğinizde, o sekmede okuyucuyu açmak ve okunacak metni almak için. Eklentinin web sitelerine kalıcı bir erişimi yoktur.
- contextMenus: seçili metin için sağ tık menüsündeki “Speed-read selected text” öğesi.
- storage: tercihlerinizi cihazınızda saklamak için.
Verilerinizi silme
Eklentiyi kaldırdığınızda cihazınızda saklanan tüm veriler silinir.

Summary
Speed Reader collects no personal data, sends nothing over the internet and stores nothing on any server. It requires no account, shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking.
What it accesses
- It reads the text you select, or the open page's text, only to show it one word at a time in your browser. That text is never sent anywhere.
- Reading speed, theme and pause preferences and the last text read are stored only on your device (
chrome.storage.local).
Why the permissions are needed
- activeTab, scripting: only when you click the icon, press the shortcut or choose the right-click item, to open the reader in that tab and read the text. The extension has no standing access to any website.
- contextMenus: the “Speed-read selected text” right-click menu item.
- storage: to keep your preferences on your device.
Deleting your data
Removing the extension deletes all data stored on your device.
